I just bought a Colt LE6920 for $1050.00 new at the gun show at the Expo Center a couple of weeks ago. Good deals can be found on quality ARs, just have to look for them.

That's the build I just did.

I then added the Magpul rear and mags but the rifle itself is of the same quality as the $1000 Bushmasters and stuff you'll find on the shelves.

Budget and AR's Hmmmm.
Accessories for these things pile up like shoes in Imelda Marcos closet.
They eat ammo like Scooby Doo eats scooby snacks.
Once aquired they'll keep you broke for a while.
I plead the 5th on how I know these things
