I've got plenty of experience on the other side of the tables at shows, but this will be my first experience as a seller and have a few questions.

About how many long guns are you comfortable displaying on a table at a given time without any vertical stands or other contraptions?

If we have more than we can display, is there room to keep extras behind the tables before, hopefully creating some room with sales?

Is it best to bring a cart or wagon to transport everything in?

Is there any pre-show trading among vendors?

I'm sure I'll come up with more but would appreciate any input on these or any other advice you may want to share. Thanks in advance!

Use 550 cord to tie all together. As many as you are comfortable with.

there's usually not extra behind a table, some underneath storage.

Yes, though the venue usually has some. I have used both with success.
Is there any pre-show trading among vendors?

Absolutely, I enjoy that aspect.

Bring change, T-shirt bags if you sell small stuff. Price and give details of items on your table. I use index cards myself.

You know what I hate the MOST about vendors?

I mean, it's a personal pet peeve so here comes the rant...

PUT A ****ING PRICE TAG ON YOUR ****!!!

NO PRICE TAG I'M GOING TO CONTINUE TO WALK. **** YOU!

Wow, I feel so much better!

Merry Christmas fellas!

Oh, and here's what my tables looked like...and everything had a price tag!

Back in April '22. Last of the soap. Good times.

Spas had a good list. I would add some kind of table cloth/covering...just looks a little nicer. Don't forget drinks/snacks to get you through the day. Introduce yourself to your table neighbors - watch their table when they're away and vice-versa.
