Setup this new stand right on the edge of some pines and hardwoods with two trails intersecting. The maximum distance shot here is about 30 yards which is through quite a few vines and limbs. It is the first time I have ever hunted this side of my property, and a couple of days ago, I got the pic below of the cow with horns. I am not a trophy hunter, and I have let a lot of bucks walk, but if that big fella walks in front of me, it is going to be interesting. He's right at the outer edge of the grass in the top pic.
