Hey guys, i got bored today during the rain and i had this block of wood laying around for years now and today turned it into new handgrips for my ruger 22/45 they look great to me. i am not sure on finish, i am thinking of making a nice stand and doing a super glue finish , with light sanding between coats with 1000grt or 2000 grt wet. So far they have only been sanded with many different grits, but finished with 2000 grt dry sanded . let me know if you have any suggestions. Enjoy, and let me know what you think. The red wood is Padauk and i think the outter wood is Bacote. but i am not sure of that one. again, i have had this on a shelf for about 3 years.
