Got myself an entry level luger. What can yall tell me about it?

DWM luger in 7.65 parabellum (30 luger)
Definetly has some wear. Came with 14 rounds of ammo.
I shot 5 today and rang steel with all 5 at 7 yards. It shot and cycled very well.
The serial number on the barrel and on the frame do not match. Frame is 86xx. Barrel is 85xx.

Is the engraving on the top from the factory?
So according to the awesome reference materials provided by alleycat this gun is 1920-22.
Anyone have some 30 luger ammo i could buy?

My 9mm Lugers have the dates stamped just in front of the chambers (towards the muzzle) on top of the receiver.

Maybe yours has been scrubbed?

Not sure it makes a difference, but his is a 30 cal....my 30 cal had the date there...
