Okay I know a lot of y'all's googlefoo is way more advanced than mine. About two maybe three months ago I wound up with this old Spesco ( Pre Taurus) Falcon in 38 Special. I dig it cause it's a 3" tube on it. I just wish it was a round butt instead of square . Giggity!
Anyway I was scrolling through pages earlier looking for some rubbery grips that might fit it. But of course Spesco predates the Internet by a LONG way. So I guess if I'ma find me some retro looking Pachmayers or Hogue grips I will have to figure out which Smith frame this thing is a knockoff of.
So with all that being said what do y'all Smith /wheel gun experts think? BTW...I dig the markings on the side where it says Spesco Atlanta,GA. Yeah I know it's Brazilian but by way of the ATL. Atlanta and north GA used to be pretty gun heavy back then.

After a little digging, many collectors say it matched the S&W k frame and also the Taurus M84, which Pachmayr made a set for the K:
Not sure but it's a lead, maybe.

Both sets would work for me . But the second set you posted that were more rounded on the bottom are pretty much just what the doctor ordered. Damn I ain't had Pachmayers on a gun since my late grandfather Smith J frame snub in the early 90s. Think I'ma git these and bob the hammer.

Great. I hope they fit well.
I've a few old S&W 38 S&W revolvers and have thought of changing to Pachmayrs, but I don't shoot them much anymore.
Good luck!

I did have some 3M grip tape wrapped around it. But then I realized that's more of a snub nose thing. I did have an RG 38 Snub with the tape but traded it off. So I figured I'd go retro tactical with some fat rubber grips.
