It was sold thru sears, its a J C Higgins model 30 with the pull out strap (sling) semi-automatic 22's

Wow!!! That was my second rifle as a kid. Red pull-out strap/sling. Man I carried that thing EVERYwhere through the woods!!!

Not fabulous, but I functioned tested it again, and it fired, and the evaporust from Autozone even removed the rust in the barrel. Better than it ending up as slag...

Not sure about the woman, earlier in the day Joe Carn was there, the buyback was his baby, along with the Mayor. A lot of State reps, congressman and the Fulton sheriff were invited and none showed.

The best part of the whole thing, almost every person bringing a gun to trade in didn't even live in College Park! I got the JC 22 rifle from a guy that lived in Carrolton.
