Support Assault Firearms Elimination and Reduction for our Streets Act.

[Congressional Bills 113th Congress]
[From the U.S. Government Printing Office]
[H.R. 226 Introduced in House (IH)]

113th CONGRESS
1st Session
H. R. 226

To amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 to allow a credit against
tax for surrendering to authorities certain assault weapons.

Understand, if this Pass's, then it can be USED as "Definition of Assusalt or Firearms" as they all seem to be listed. I did not see a "Slingshot / Baseball bat / Hammer", just about everything else is listed. This NEEDS to be Defeated!

Very true, they need a bipartisan lawful definition of an assault weapon, for example, select fire, the end.

So if I turn in a stripped polymer lower that should count. After all, the ATF considered it an AR-15 when I bought it.

Also, it's kind of funny that they are all about removing 'assault weapons' until it cuts into their tax revenue. Just 1 per person, and credit is split across two years.
