It’s never been over, theres pre season, season and the postseason 
That's just not funny... but I know a few people who think this way..
Deer hunting is a year round activity for us. My wife of 38 years is my biggest helper. Oh, and she hunts and handles our tracking dog too.

The last time mine went to the farm, I had shot 3 deer. We needed the meat. Anyway, I was trying to get all the gear plus the deer in the back of the truck. With one on the tailgate and two in the bed with all the gear, I ask my wife to push the one on the tailgate forward while I held everything else. They were all field dressed and the deer's back was facing toward her. She said "ewwwwww......" as she pushed the deer in the bed. That was many years ago......
hunted alone most of my life,my son when he is in country is about it. Too old to hunt much anymore have to schedule with landowner when he is available if I do shoot one.
