One of the best gifts i got when i started riding was from my dad…. A brand new set of Honda-Line leather all- weather gloves . Those were the schittz for bikers gloves back then. They went up to past middle of the forearm, lined, air vents, rain/wet weather covers… they were the warmest gloves made at the time for riding on the road. I gave them a workout ! Lol.

I still have some awesome riding gear, except a helmet.. I hate them as much as seat belts! I don't wear either if I can get away with it.
 
A five-hour ride through the West Virginia mountains to my home in Maryland was fun. Snow in the mountains, so cold it took 20 minutes to pull my gloves off to warm my hands enough to open the garage door. That was in the early 80's . . . 60 degrees would feel cold now!

That reminds me of that scene in “Gumball Rally” where the guy riding the motorcycle across the country….and he is going through some cold area and he is freezing, gets to a stop and is hugging the engine and he scalds his cheeks on the headers !! :pound:
