My EDC ammo up to now has been the 9mm Sig 124 grain JHP ammo because it had the higher foot pounds of energy on impact -- but now I'm looking at this new P365 ammo.
For defensive cartridges, basically they've got:

- 115 grain @ 1,185 ft/sec and 359 ft-lbs
- 124 grain @ 1,165 ft/sec and 374 ft-lbs
- P365 115 grain @ 1,050 ft/sec and 282 ft-lbs
- 147 grain @ 985 ft/sec and 317 ft-lbs
Maybe that's not really an advantage in a defensive situation -- dunno. Ammo gurus please weigh in.
