Those women, and I use the term loosely, took an oath of office to defend the constitution, not piss all over it. Disgusting that such ignorant people are attempting more feel good legislation. It's clear they have not taken the time to study crime statistics and want to address the real problem. It does seem they have studied the Nazi's playbook on gun control, which didn't work out so good for millions of Jews, Pols and others deemed undesirable by the Nazis.

Americans in general need to get past the myth that there is a difference between democrats and republicans once they get to a high level elected position, especially on the US congressional level. Perhaps not so much at the state level, republicans are fully capable of betrayal. for democrats, it is a matter of course...
