Heart Rate Monitors for Cardio Training

I have been staying in the 148-161 range while running but am backing down to 115-125 and the monitors on the equipment I use are questionable.
 
Garmin Forerunner 305 GPS watch with HRM. I had a 405 at one point, but after much research, sold it and got a 305. Bigger screen, less finicky, great watch! Developed some nasty achilles tendonitis so I haven't used it lately, but will as soon as I can run again!
 
If you want a good quality mo it or with chest strap check out the house brand at Pricepoint.com I send all of my people there to get cycling shoes and monitors.
 
Polar is what you want. They've been making them for a long time. Bells and whistles...you want polar. Once you know your target zones all you need is a number, you don't need all the BS either.
