Take a look at this video. This guy knows what he is doing and produces some very nice videos. On this particular video, he makes a knife with nothing but common tools. In his comments sectuion, he lists our all the tools and raw materials that he used, along with where he got them from. Take a look at his other videos too. Very informative...

One thing that really throws me is how a blade is "profiled", where the knife begins to get much thinner about 1/4 from the top, is that able to be done by hand?

Read up on 'hollow grinding'... I may have misspelled that. And I may have misspelled the word misspelled. I miss auto correct.

It curved up in my forge, so it trash.
