Help with 22-250

I’m in need of a couple different loads with data for 22-250 just getting into reloading that round and wanted so pointers and things

Hodgdon and Alliant both offer free load data with several powder/bullet selections for free. What bullet weight do you intend to run?

This was my first cartridge to reload, it’s always held a spot in my heart. It’s where it all started, I still load for it. It’s about the only thing I do load anymore.

What powder and projectile weight are you loading?

Been reloading and shooting 22-250 over 50 years. 55 gr sp is the best overall I have found. Killed 40 deer with it and never had to track one. It is much better than outsiders think. Look in the hodgdon online manual. It gives very good loads. good luck, Wallacem inGa

I do love the 22-250.. my question is, IS THERE ANYWHERE TO BUY THAT 55 so OFF THE SHELF? Thanks

My rifle prefers the 52gr SMK over 38.5gr of H-414.

I’ve run some 55gr Amax out to 1300 yards. They were tumbling but could repeat shots/hits.

My rifle is a custom built 98 action with 24" bbl. 1-14" twist, so it likes to spit them out as fast as possible.
