Here’s my story

My barracks was across the parking lot from B Company Marines up at NAS Cubi Point. Use to hang out and drink San Miquels with those guys. They were guarding the NavMag when I was there. So many missions over the Sh$t River bridge.

Did you go through JEST?

Sure did. When I was there, they had a 24hr, 48hr, and a long version (40hrs?). Eventually, I attended all 3.

Small world I was stationed at Clark in 1984.
When the fleet would pull into Subic we would go up to Angeles City to get away from the insanity. There were some great bars up there like the Nipa Hut and some right outside of checkpoint Charlie we'd go to. Nothing like grabbing a few San Miquels, getting a special Jeepney and driving through the "zig zags" (mountains and rice patties) to Clark. Aahhhhh the good old days...until the Marco revolution started.

What did I miss? I didn't see anything on your FB Feed. I for one can vouch that things disappear from your records. Just Like I was told when I did my final update before I retired, "What does it really matter? YOU know what you have done." Haters are going to hate Shep, trust me I go thru it everyday especially since I opened up the new shop. F them and just be you.
