Kind of. He actually went into the next best thing to a box canyon. Very steep and tall hardwood ridges on three sides. Maybe 50 yards across a flood plane at the bottom, but several hundred yards long. Unless he goes hiking into the high ground, it's a pretty concentrated area to search.Crap! Hopefully your hunting where you can freely track him a good distance.
Don't want to spook him. From where he's hit, I think my best bet is to be able to slip in for another shot. If he's in shock at all that becomes much more possible.Bring a hunting dog in if you can.
