Well I've got 2 rifles up for sale now! I'm currently downsizing my collection because I have gotten to peek through a generation 3 PVS-14. I am saving up really hard to get good generation 3 night vision for hog hunting and general fun.

I'm pretty impressed by all the replies here- this forum is very welcoming!

If I were not a starving grad student I'd have tons of milsurp rifles. I used to have an M1903a3 (Remington, I think 1944 production if I remember correctly) that I bought super cheap. It was sporterized, so I returned to to a mostly military configuration. Loved that rifle! Had to sell it though- couldn't justify keeping it when I was mostly shooting pistol and AR15.

For my future collection I want an M1903, M1903a3, M1917, Gewehr 98, Mauser 93/95 (Boer Mauser), Swedish Mauser, K31, Finnish M38, M1 Garand, 1873 Springfield, and an 1896 Krag. All shooters- not so much into collecting for the sake of collecting.

Here are some pics of that M1903a3 I used to have. I needed to have stained the furniture more.

Looks like you brought her back nicely. We have similar tastes in weapons...be glad to let you shoot some of mine if you ever find yourself on this side of the state
