Home Inspector as a career??

Anyone here a home inspector? Seems like a pretty good gig to me.
I'm interested in changing careers and this has peaked my interest.
I'd love to pick your brain if you have any experience in this field

When we were buying a house I had Cody with Diligent Inspection Services inspect a few. Working in construction we talked about the different things he's seen and how he started his company. His main job if I recall is the inspections, but he also renovates houses on the side to supplement his income. I'm sure he would allow you to pick his brain as he is a stand up guy.
