We tried home school the first part of this year. We have a 6 and 7 yr old. But we also have a 6 month old now. My wife struggled and I work 50-60 hrs a week and was having to do some lessons when I got one late in the evening. It was great for the kids and the family but was just to hard with a newborn. We put them back in school after the 2nd 6 weeks and they were ahead of their classmates and the work they were doing. We will do it again but are going to wait until the baby is older and easier to handle lol. We used k-12 georgia cyber academy. It was easy and had a lot of help for things we didn't understand. Teachers and other parents were just a phone call or email away. And they provided a computer and all the workbooks for free. It's paid by the same program as public schools and the test outs were done at the end of the year at a local school.
