Anyone had any problems priming this kind of brass?I tried priming some yesterday with fed match primers and had problems seating them.Had to pull out the primer reamer and shape them up.

They do have tight primer pockets I have noticed in the past, I use a rcbs bench mounted priming tool, it has always seated them, it just took a little more pressure

Match brass ain't likely to have crimped primers?

Make sure it ain't some of the small rifle sized match brass that some companies offer.

Some primers and primer pocket combos are tighter fits than others.

These are 308 caliber.I put the calibers on them and they seemed to have measured 207 one way and 208 the other. But even after truing them up with the lyman reamer they seemed real tight.

my hornady match are all crimped... however, they did not give me any issues aside from requiring a bit more pressure to seat the primer. I did not see any shaving or deformation with CCI LRP
