Hottest/Best Horseradish you’ve ever had?

St. Elmo's Steakhouse in Indy has some seriously strong cocktail sauce to go with their shrimp cocktail. Strongest I've had personally. Feels like the top of your head is coming off.

Trivia fact of the day....about 80% of the world's horseradish is grown in/around Collinsville, IL, right across the Mississippi from St. Louis.
I blend my own cocktail sauce.
Heinz catsup, Silver Springs coarse cut horseradish, and a dash of Lea & Perrins worcestershire.

While not technically horseradish, the Chinese hot mustard will light you up. It's a staple in my fridge. I was in Japan coming back from a 7 month deployment. My detachment was all on a bus from Atsugi Japan to Tokyo airport. We were swilling beer and champagne to celebrate heading home. The driver stopped at a small store for a potty break. They had hot dogs. Many of us got a couple. The mustard didn't look different but looks were deceiving. Absolute rocket fuel. I've never in my life had any mustard that even came close. The driver was very amused watching the round eyes get lit up.

I love some horseradish sauce on a low country boil, prime rib, venison backstrap etc. I can never find a horseradish that hits as hard as I’d like. I want it to be almost too much. Recommendations?
Make your own out of real raw horseradish. Won’t last as long, but you can make it in any variation you like.

This is the brand I use when we have our Polish get togethers. I buy it at the Polish bakery in Lawrenceville, but I have seen it in other places. They also have red, it's not as hot as the white, but it'll still bring a tear to your eyes.

Interesting. I lived in Collinsville for a year when I was a kid.
