How is the milsurp market these days?

Debated on whether or not to put this on the new c&r picture thread or here.
My Swiss K31s. Bottom to top: 1936 (walnut w/ troop tag), 1942 (beech w/ troop tag), 1957 (walnut no troop tag). The 42 came with a series of correspondence between one of the former owners and the soldier it was issued with over in Zurich, Switzerland (the 2nd picture has him and the rifle in it somewhere but unfortunately no one marked which guy). This gave me an idea. After a dozen letters, I was fortunate enough to come in contact with the soldier who was issued the 36 in Altendorf, Switzerland. He is circled in green in the 3rd picture. Definitely has opened up a whole new realm of collecting for me.
(The 57 is for trade on the board!)
