there are lots of 15 to $20,000 houses in Macon that section 8 renters are perfectly happy living in as long as they don't have dirt floors and do have a flushing toilet.

There is absolutely no advantage to living in a city nowadays. Too many folks hanging in them that belong to some oppressed abbreviated group (blm/lbgtq/aclu/naacp/crips/bloods/MARTA/democrats/socialists/etc............

My wife and I lived in a government apartment for a brief period when first got together. Our rent was $475 per month. The crazy lady that lived next door who didn't work at all paid $14 per month for the same size apartment. We got out as soon as we could.
