How to stop a raging elephant.....ROLL TIDE ROLL

The Bama bandwagon fans are out in droves. I do wonder where these people were a few years ago when Shula was struggling under sanctions.

Oh well.

. :)

I agree 100%, these are the Bama fans I can't stand. You can always tell who they are by those brand new stickers in the windows and the brand new not faded flags. Jump on the bandwagon!

People like to be associated with winners, so everyone is welcome to jump on the bandwagon. I am a lifelong BAMA fan and alumnus. Will show my age but Bear Bryant was the head coach when I attended the University of Alabama. When I was a teenager it was a given that BAMA would win, it was just a question by how much. Now I don't take any game for granted. And yes we went through some lean years in the past. So we will celebrate every victory and recognition as it comes. Like it or not but Alabama is setting the standard that everyone else must strive to meet.

Partsman, I can relate (but with different colors on of course. :) )
Now let me ask you a question. I think Bama had the best football program (when looking at the entire season) than any other team in the country. Presumably most would agree. Having said that, do YOU think there was any luck in Bama getting to the NC game last year? (there was zero luck in them pounding an over ranked ND). Maybe let me ask it another way. Of all the teams they beat, do you think they would beat them 9 out of 10 times? 8? 7?.... (Not counting the loss to A&M of course.)

GeauxLSU it goes without saying that luck is always a factor. After all the football is not round and can take a funny bounce. To win a National Championship requires some degree of luck. In addition to talent, to win a championship you need a favorable schedule, a lack of key injuries, good coaching, recruiting for the future, a good game plan for each opponent, avoidance of NCAA problems, and yes a little luck. Also, I believe a strong defense wins games especially in the SEC. As far as your question, I truly think BAMA should be capable of winning every game, beyond that I can't give you the odds.

I was there. Season tickets. Walked out of the stadium with the Aubs yelling "please keep Shula" the whole way out of the stadium. I was also there when we got beat 9-0 by the Aubs in Tusca. I was also there when we lost to GA in OT, the "you aren't man enough game", the lost to Monroe Louisiana and many more losses. I don't take any game for granted and will be the first to say that we have been VERY fortunate the last two years to get an opportunity to play for a NC. There were many things that had to go right to play in both of those games. I am not boastful in person at a game but will have a huge smile if we win. If we don't, I beat my wife and kids for three days, LOL. RT!!
