Yep. looks like the storm clouds that are starting to form around Tuscalooser today......UA being implicated in a cheating scandal. IMAGINE THAT!
Alabama athletics director Bill Battle released the following statement yesterday:"We have been aware of some of the allegations in today's story and our compliance department was looking into this situation prior to being notified that this story was actually going to be published. Our review is ongoing. We diligently educate our student-athletes on maintaining compliance with NCAA rules, and will continue to do so." This is in response to a Yahoo Sports story that five SEC football players including former Crimson Tide lineman D.J. Fluker received extra benefits as college football players. Let's see what comes out that are facts not opinions of what happened. I am reminded that folks living in glass houses shouldn't throw stones.
