10 bucks an acre for 500 acres = $5000. 10 members at $500 a peice = $5000. Seems pretty reasonable to me.

good luck collecting $$.
I think that's a good starting point. Get 10 guys, do a meet & greet to weed out any potential crazies/loose cannons and find a spot of land. We can add members if more land becomes available. It would suck to get 30 guys and find a sweet spot that only hold 12 guys.

Had a great chat with a member who is in Real Estate and he will keep his eyes open for us. And another member has been looking at leased land for awhile and will help us also.
We have had a very good response - keep passing the word along so if we find some land we can jump on it.

I was thinking the same damned thing as I was reading through, lol.
If you pick something up around Fulton or DeKalb, count me in. I would like to get some of these neighborhood, people friendly, record deer we see come out of those counties every year.
