I believe it depends on the state, and not here.
I went to college in PA and they only allowed alcohol sales on sunday my senior year. Had to buy beer by the case at a distributer, 6 packs cold only at bars, and liqour/wine at state run stores.

The first week I moved to GA back in '93, after moving in on a Sunday I walked into a local bar and asked for a six pack...they laughed at me.

When I used to drive through Texas, I don't remember exactly if it was a state or county rule, you had to be a member of I don't remember what, but there was a $2 card you had to buy to be served in a restaurant or club
