I finally ordered my first Ruger/Marlin.

My first “gun” was a Daisy Spittin Image BB gun. I guess I was 5 or so but I hung on to that thing for years.
I picked one up in .357 a little while back. I like having a pistol and rifle in the same caliber for whatever reason… or maybe that’s the excuse I used to justify my purchase. Either way, I love the thing.

Saw one on Monday at the Buford academy sports but they wanted $999. Pretty sweet gun.

These things are averaging 1100 to 1250 and even 1400. 999 really isn't bad TBH.

Love the straight grip on those things.
Was looking at the CB model in 45/70 a few years ago at a Sportsmans Warehouse in another state, looked at a few of them and every single one was jacked up in some way, loose fore-ends or wood on the grip raised over the adjoining metal. Straight grip, 45/70, 26 inch barrel, hope they bring that model back.
