I have a question for the car gurus here about starting an old Explorer.

don't want to break up slug it will stop up oil pump screen don't waste money on trans additives people need to quit giving advice on things they know nothing about retired mechanic of 46 years sell as is

I do know a thing or two what I'm talking about. Oils and additives have come along way over the last half century. You should check some out

nope i repair i don't install Band-Aids this is why mechanics get bad raps i would check the wiring on the gear shift they were known to get chaff and will send trans in to limp mode this is from past experience NOT GOGGLE
