I'm with you. I broke the guts out of this one so I didn't have to depress the nozzle.
I got an old style rare one with the vent and no nozzle. It's lnib with a bit of holster wear. Preban if u will.

Go to Summit Racing and buy the racing type square jugs, made for other liquids, but hav used them for fuel for years. Work great with a vent and NO safety spout.
