I know I need a serviceable can for a 22lr, but my DA Mask is in jail. Figured a couple 22lr in a non-serviceable can couldn’t hurt. Thing is quieter than my pellet rifle.

I'd swear you're in my backyard with all the bug racket going on. It's really remarkable how quiet you can get with the right setup.
- Bolt gun - check
- long barrel - check
- SV ammo - check
- any suppressor worth it's salt - check

I don't have the Surefire can, but I do have the Savage. I think most of what you hear (aside from impact noise) is the firing pin dropping.

Pretty much this.

I video myself shooting a bolty 22 with a can and I always do a dry fire at the end and it’s dang near the same sound.
