I knew a guy in SF that did that when he had his annual multi-block yard sale. He did "clean outs" on houses that were staged for "Estate Sales" and had to be broom clean on Monday morning. Anything left over he was allowed to keep as partial payment for services. He'd have a huge yard sale once per year. I've watched him drop a Baccarat vase when a lowballer offered him $15 for it. He said, "Now you can have it for $15." LOL!I would have said, and I have done in the past at auto swap meets, when I get stupid low balls offers- " I would rather smash it in front of you than sell it for $40".
