He ended up with a Plymouth Horizon with no A/C and moved to Oklahoma after that. That no A/C situation got annoying quick. So what did the parents buy? A freaking Dodge Aspen! Another fugly bastard of a vehicle. White with a brown Vinyl top. Got it used with 38,000 miles for 750 bucks. LOL

Did have an AMX leave my 396 Nova SS in the dust on I85, though.

Always liked the looks of the AMX

AMX was a bad assed looking car for sure. Went to buy one when I was about 17. With the console and wrap around style dash I didn’t like the “closed in” feel. Not to mention girls couldnt sit close…

Hmm, that's when you need a Chevelle SS 4spd with a front bench seat.....

Did get to jockey one of these around the lot at the Chamblee dealership In 1969.
Got in, the whole dash was covered in warning labels about not attempting to move the car until oil temperature, oil pressure, and water temp were all within a marked range.
Brutal little toy.
