He did say the middle shock is junk and to replace it with a so-and-so part but unless you do anything serious with it you're fine.

I second the recommendations for a bigger seat.

I ordered 3 different kinds of seat to find one I like. Since they are pretty cheap. To keep my balls from getting crushed. I bet the seat with the hole in it is comfortable but it looks kind of funny. LOL

If you ride a long way, the wide seat will chafe your inner thighs. (on the narrow seat, the hole is for your giblets)

I bought a nice KHS from amercycprod check and see if he has one that fits you. Nice guy and the bikes are in great shape. I will be buying my wife a full suspension from him when he gets the right one in.

Like all things, you get what you pay for... speaking in terms of guns, you bought a High Point, not a Sig...

The bike you bought is fine for tooling around the neighborhood and losing weight, just keep it on the street and easy trails/fire roads because it won't handle real mtn biking.

I remember my first bike ride, 5 miles and I was wiped out! Easy ride will lose weight, not high heart rate.
