I swear I hate teens.....

One of my bosses bought a Brita water filter pitcher because he got tired of all the half empty water bottles all over the house. I should mention he has two boys. So last week he got home during one of the 100°+ days and went to the fridge to get water. Of course the pitcher wasn't in there. It also wasn't in the dish washer or anywhere in the kitchen. So immediately he assumed correctly that it was in the 17 year old's room. Yeah on his desk EMPTY and the kid was gaming with headphones on and face timing some other zit face jerk off. Then he had the balls to say "I wanted water. What's the problem?" I think boss told him " Yeah so did three other people in this ****ing house!"
That story pissed ME off and not only is it not my kid but I wasn't even there. And that's a good thing because I told boss that at that point I would have full body tackled his ass out of the chair and busted the pitcher on his head. After that I would have told him if he had ANY problem with it at all to pack his **** and call DFACS.
My last youngun turned 18 yesterday. She's never been bad at all or disrespectful. Admittedly she HAS had her share of just not thinking about everyone else in the house. But given her track record I try to let that slide. I think part of her not being smart mouthed and bitchy is from being home schooled. She's been able to avoid exposure to a good many plain old **** kids that need public school as a daycare.

Kids these days are just something serious. They're all just ignorant selfish little MFrs!! I love them but hate how they act and im sitting here just paying for it all and ain't "allowed" to be the enforcer of rules but you'd think the 13 year olds are 30 because the way they think they can speak to folks. I have one a good lil ass whipping the other day and OMG their mother almost had a heart attack! You'd thought she was the one who got a ass whipping!!
Interesting similar situation here early on with our boys. I put the kibosh on that she would say wait till your Dad gets home and I was the disciplinarian.. that stopped after 6 months. I said you have to step it up so I am not always the bad guy…

She did just that and they knew not to push her.around anymore

Harsh decisions sometimes need to be made, it's just very important HOW you communicate consequences, and not to deploy consequences with no knowledge of them ahead of the "infraction". If you don't, you'll end up with a bigger problem than you started with. You'll end up with daughters that don't trust you, don't respect you (they still do now, even if they're acting like assholes), and pure rebelliousness, and no parent wants to parent a coupla whores. Just my 2 cents, dad.

I've got 4 little girls, 5 yr old, 8 yr old and a set of 13 year old twins... Both twins think they can now speak to ME like I don't matter or have an attitude with everyone in the house.. I'm bout done with being Mr.Nice Guy and about to show them what a Sergeant is really about. I've tried to be sweet to them as they are little girls but I'll be damned if I'm going to it here and deal with this mess.. I'm taking all electronics (t.v & phones) and legitimately leave a bed and clothes in their room.. enough ranting...I'm done.. teens are such a$$holes!!!!! My God!!

Time to stick your foot up that teen ass.

I've told more than one parent of teens and preteens that IF they don't respect you and Mom is enabling that disrespect then they need to FEAR you at least until such time that they learn respect. It's kinda like feeding a dog or cat that turns around and bites you. That pisses me off more than most things. I will be Goddamned if I will look out for anything or anyone and their needs /wants that then turns on me. So if fear is what's required in that situation then so be it.
