Every time I shop for powder I consider buying a .50, because the powder is available pretty much everywhere. Boy did I get into reloading at a bad time, this stinks.

I really don't think you want to start charging cases with 250gr of powder at a time and topping it with a $3.00 match bullet.
If you have that kind of cash to throw around any kind of powder you want is available.

Maybe I should have used a to highlight the sarcasm. I'm willing to pay to play but powder shopping is proving to been a lesson in perseverance.

28 rounds is spot on. At $25/lb thats 89¢ of powder per round. 50 cal really does shoot $5 bills
