Identification of Antique Swords

So swords are not my thing...

But when these walked in the door of my pawn shop I couldn't resist buying them


I am almost positive that they are Nepalese, but the style seems weird for the era.

Could use some further input from any experts here.

No sword expert but I concur, the handle binding looks Japanese as does the tsuba and just the overall blade shape.

From my FIL who has several authentic Japanese swords he brought back from Japan:
”I don’t know what language the inscription is. Some of the blades and fittings might be Showa era Japanese ( 1920’s or later) certainly not well cared for and of doubtful value. Showa blades have never been considered very collectible.”

I postulated Nepalese origins due to the etching on the blade which is not any form of the written Japanese language that I am familiar with.

I bet the set I picked up was cheaper than the one on wish.
The gentlemen accepted my offer of $10 for all 3
