About 50 years ago I got ahold of a Mark X barreled action and a Claro Walnut blank. I whittled out a stock and got the thing shooting. It's a .257 Roberts and I love it. It's in rotation with my 300 Savage, 270, 308. 30-06 and several others. I never have a problem finding ammo. Just checked and have about 80 rounds in stock. The little 257 is as pleasant shooting rifle I've ever handled. It will not be for sale in my lifetime..
