If you paid more than $400 for a 30/30...

Why? Just that.
Well… which 30/30?

I remember I listed a tiller I got for $200 when Home Depot did a sale.

It’s ok for ppl to list a $600 sks or an ammo can they bought for $40 for $400 for the ammo now. or a house they got for a silver dollar and 4 raspberries but for me to want a fair trade… BLASPHEMY!!!!!

I just wanted a fair trade even if it was only for a couple hunnit trade. Lol

Still got some of those tillers new in box…. Wanna trade for your 30/30??? 😂😂😂

Marlin Glenfield in the 70s $60,Winchester Trapper 80s $150. sold em both
I have always owned a lever gun. Got my last JM Stamped gun at GA Firing line for 325 with scope. Sold it and the prices shot through the roof. Now I am in deep sorry at selling all the lever guns I have owned I my lifetime. Who knew the JM guns would jump like they did..

The problem is how devalued our dollar is now. $400 nowadays is probably the equal of $100 in the 1970’s. Maybe less. Hell,my Dad used to give Mom a $100 bill to buy groceries..and it would absolutely FILL a grocery buggy up..;).

According to the inflation calculator, $100.00 in 1975 is equal to $583.07 today.
483.1% inflation. Not so bad if you say it real fast.

Of course, the median family income for 1975 was $11,800.00. Equivalent today is $68,801.00.

I have a bad addiction to the JMs. Still want me a 41 and I will pay more than 400 lol.
