My first Marlin was a 336 TC. Just a scosch over $200. That was in the early '80s. Don't you wish you could go back and take advantage of some things you know now?

Well… which 30/30?Why? Just that.
I have always owned a lever gun. Got my last JM Stamped gun at GA Firing line for 325 with scope. Sold it and the prices shot through the roof. Now I am in deep sorry at selling all the lever guns I have owned I my lifetime. Who knew the JM guns would jump like they did..Marlin Glenfield in the 70s $60,Winchester Trapper 80s $150. sold em both
.According to the inflation calculator, $100.00 in 1975 is equal to $583.07 today. The problem is how devalued our dollar is now. $400 nowadays is probably the equal of $100 in the 1970’s. Maybe less. Hell,my Dad used to give Mom a $100 bill to buy groceries..and it would absolutely FILL a grocery buggy up...
I’ll give you $400 for eachI have a bad addiction to the JMs. Still want me a 41 and I will pay more than 400 lol.
Why? Just that. Thread starter would never do that!I’ll give you $400 for each
