Just want some opinions. The cut is happening, so though I appreciate recommendations for alternative handguards, I won't be utilizing that option today. I need to be able to attach my suppressor so the hg will be modified by me.

My question is, should I just lop off the end, or cut it at an angle. If I lop off the end flush, it will give about an extra inch and a half of rail on top and an extra half inch on bottom. If I do the angled cut, yes I lose a little rail on an already short hg (9" currently), but I can angle it so that no none of the keyholes are left "open" on the hg, and also I think the slant looks cool anyway.

I plan to throw on a mbus and red dot up top, and a tlr1 and possibly afg on the bottom. Pics included for reference. Orange level shows where possible cuts will be.
