Hell yeah! :D
LOL .... we use to laff an say you could always find 2 things at an eastman show ..... BEEF JERKY AND PANTIES ..lol

I feel the same way. All those type shows ( gun show, buck a rama, etc.) usually suck and are a waste of time. Deals at the shows went away many years ago.

bout the truth ;(

I think we suffer from a perception problem: It feels like a flea market environment, but without flea market prices.

I go to gun shows when I have a general need in mind, like, "I want to look for a new carry piece," or "I need an older, used, scope for a beater rifle," I spend $8 at the door to avoid spending $10 in gas driving around to three or four different shops looking for something I am likely to find at the show. Then there's the entertainment factor. Handling a bunch of gear, sometimes a new product not yet seen. BUT, I find that I enjoy the shows more if I only go once in a great while. If I go regularly, as I did when I first go into shooting sports, the atmosphere becomes a disappointment.

Hey I do the Eastman gun show and we get told all the time that we have great prices. Hell we have even sold to other dealer. Hell if you ask me its the customrs that are walking around selling their that's high some r smoking crack their vso high. Tables cost 75.00 each usually x 3,4,7,10 u do the math. And with the number of dealer hell u can get a new gun anywhere from 25-40 over cost we move volume .. fort Knox pawn

just wait long enough and you will be asked not to return because all the dealers will complain you are selling to low. Eastman has done it before

I know this much, do not ever expect to get a fair offer on anything you carry in from a dealer.... I like the shows, a few vendors, and watching all the people try to sell a pistol bought for 400 for 500. It is entertaining.

btw Matt, I bought that box of ammo you were talking about. But I gave the guy 20 instead of 30 haha.

Same vendors, same high prices, same junk, different dates. No more Eastman's for me. Got wind that Matt PRESSURES his vendors to sell high. The best one of the day was $30 for 50 round boxes of Blazer Brass .45ACP.

Matt has told dealers that they are selling too cheap and if they continued they would not get a table at the future shows. I used to do all of the shows for a friend of mine and he was told "you're causing trouble for selling so low and I can't have any trouble. I have to look out for my dealers". My friend asked if Matt was trying to fix prices and got nothing in return but a dirty look. There were no tables left for him at the next show.

Good thing there's RK shows.

The deals at gun shows are on the shoulders of the people that are walking around, not on the tables. Gun shows are for buyers that haven't discovered the internet or don't have a relationship with their local gun shop.

It is a fact that Mission Essential was booted from Eastman shows for selling at reasonable prices. Josh, the owner, has been cleaning up at RK shows though. I wouldn't piss on Eastman if he was on fire and I'd drank a case of beer...
