I wouldn't advise anyone to shoot a matching one nowadays, or at least swap out all the vulnerable numbered parts first !

It's kinda funny. Never really been into older guns. I like my guns usable and hardy. But my family seems intent on dropping things like this in my lap because they know I will appreciate and care for them. I'm having a hobby dropped in my lap and I'm not complaining .
Iff'n your not careful, those "older guns" can be quite habit forming.
It's amazing how those "old guys and gals" can breed . . . .
