Internet going down for a few months.

.22 and snares, squirrels and rabbits, candles, fire. Family working through it together. Typewriters for those of us who still have them and need them. It won't last . . . it'll be OK . . . we've done this before -- for centuries. Businesses will adapt and so will families. Some will fail but what's new about that? Meanwhile, the local world will be quiet and peaceful for a few minutes.

Iran or Russia or North Korea or China would dearly love love love to knock out our internet .

Since that shuts down all the financial services, Wall Street down to every ATM and every gas pump and every cash register anywhere .
Also shuts down every business since every business places orders and pays for products using the internet

i got marshmallows and i think those who were around before it existed will be fine
Not unless you grow 100% of your own food not using any store bought fertilizers and make 100% of your own fuel and electricity and have gravity water

If the internet goes down permanently, there won’t be any stores .

And there won’t be any farms or trucks to haul it since there won’t be any fuel to run them .

No medical care no antibiotics etc

Back to caveman days .
Except we’ve forgotten how to survive like that unless you can find a few native Americans left who still remember

It's amazing that within about a decade we've become so dependent on technology that shutting it down would usher in an apocalyptic society and we call it "advancements".

With all the advancements, efficiencies, and cheap Chinese products, we somehow cannot achieve a single income family like we were able to do manually back in the 50's and 60's.

All those advancements have made it practically unable to live without them, meanwhile corporations use those advancements to raise their profitability exponentially.
