I have had a Romanian Ak for about 25 years, I used to shoot it a lot, never had an issue..don’t really shoot it anymore, but I like it quite a bit

I've been around a lot longer and have no idea what that thing is. But then again I wouldn't know an AK from a hole in the ground either. or any other of the euro rifles.
