I have a couple of sets of ivory blanks...one set for a 1911 and one set for a Colt Model 1849 revolver.
I bought them years ago from Nutmeg Sports and I have the receipts. I also bought a set of once-fitted Colt SAA ivory stocks.
My intention at the time was to have them carved/fitted to pistols of mine but over the years that didn’t happen and now I’m wondering what my options are...specifically can I sell them to a private party in Georgia?
If not, any recommendations on someone to carve/fit them for me?
Finally, any ideas on value? As I mentioned above I still have the receipt from Nutmeg and this ivory was not cheap years ago.
Thanks in advance for any advice...
Edwin

I think that interstate sales of ivory is regulated by the U.S. Department of the Interior. Maybe their website has some info.
There may not be any problem selling within the state of Georgia. I've never heard of any state regulation of ivory.
I would suggest calling Nutmeg. They can answer your questions and may want to buy the grips.
