Just got a cancellation from my auto insurance. Looking for a new one.

I was with state farm for 25+ years. I was curious and got a quote from Geico and exact same coverage was almost half the cost. I ask State Farm to give me a better price and they would not budget 1 cent. I made the switch that day.

I'll be burning the phone up tomorrow fo' sho'. Kinda pissed at the moment but it could be the Kentucky mules talking

A strong ranch hand brush guard, and a beaver step with hitch extension. These two has saved in many auto claims. It better to shell out the cash and armor your vehicle.

I have farmers. They have been great so far. We were with State Farm for 15 years and the rates just kept climbing. Our agent said there was nothing he could do. We called an insurance broker to find the best deal and farmers had the same coverage at a significant savings.

I have had State Farm for 15 years, recently I went to a local Farms agent for a quote.... 3 hours later I had a credit card for 10k opened in my name, since then I've had nothing but identity theft issues.

That wasn't me man. Unless your real name is..... oh hang on, the phone is ringing, be right back :bolt:

I've been with ALFA Insurance for about 2 years now. Noissues and no claims. Have had several accidents that were the other drivers fault which cost ALFA NOTHING to resolve. I received a letter today stating that they will no longer provide insurance due to a high risk factor. I am a single white male and have two daughters 21 years or younger in age. Anyone in the same bracket with the same age group of kids have a positive auto insurance story you can share? I have been happy with ALFA up to this point an never been late on a premium but they feel I am some sort of "threat" so I must be cancelled. Looking to move my home owners and auto. Currently have a sweet rate, which I believe is the reason for my cancellation. My agent has been outstanding, the cancellation came from corporate.

It may not be your fault as they may be talking about the high risk of writing insurance in GA. I received a similar letter from my current insurance company 21st Century who is part of Farmers Insurance. Out of the blue 21st Century just quit writing auto insurance in GA. Most likely because of the amount of people driving around without insurance.

In my 50's and I have been with them for several years. No tickets, no accidents and no claims ever filed. I checked several to include State Farm, Allstate, Progressive and USAA. None of them could touch Geico. I carry 100000/300000/100000 bodily injury and uninsured motorist coverage on two vehicles.
