Just got a cancellation from my auto insurance. Looking for a new one.

Call The Markey Insurance Agency. Their HQ is in Alpharetta.

They are the number 1 rated insurance broker in the southeast and have excellent customer service. They will be able to shop hundreds of carriers and find you something you're happy with.

If you're eligible for USAA, get it. They are hands down the best out there.

I've been with State Farm for the better part of 20 years. Switched a couple times. Had Progressive, GEICO, Nationwide and Liberty mutual. They all suck in comparison to State Farm. With my house and two cars no other provider has been able to beat state farm's rate either.

USAA is the best. Great rates and even better customer service. I have my houses, vehicles and liability insurance with them and they are wonderful. Had a rental burn down this year and they really stepped up to the plate and handled everything.

I've been with ALFA Insurance for about 2 years now. Noissues and no claims. Have had several accidents that were the other drivers fault which cost ALFA NOTHING to resolve. I received a letter today stating that they will no longer provide insurance due to a high risk factor. I am a single white male and have two daughters 21 years or younger in age. Anyone in the same bracket with the same age group of kids have a positive auto insurance story you can share? I have been happy with ALFA up to this point an never been late on a premium but they feel I am some sort of "threat" so I must be cancelled. Looking to move my home owners and auto. Currently have a sweet rate, which I believe is the reason for my cancellation. My agent has been outstanding, the cancellation came from corporate.

Prog., Lib Mutual & state farm all went up on me 35% hoping I wouldn't notice after years with ea. Spent last week giving out all my personal info, now waiting on idendity fraud, but Geico was the best choice out of seven then when they go up in 3 yrs. I'll change again. So much for being loyal without any accidents or tickets.

USAA, the worst company to deal with a friend ever had to deal with their client hit a friend of mine they had to do the following:

Take the car to them/their approved body shop only... (it was in a very seedy part of town)

They only used refurbished body parts... (out of salvage yards)

They only pay for rental car when your car/truck is actually getting worked on.. (Not the time you dropped it off or it was hauled to them) you are responsible to keep the body shop alerted to what the insurance will and will not do, you have to inform the insurance alerted as to progress of the repair.

Get a rental before they allow you to and you pay the bill...

Maybe great rates but do not get hit by their insured, or you get the can, of bills to pay.

So you better know the right questions to ask. He finally sued the insured which then their insured turned it over to USAA, and then he got his insurance involved took about 3-5 months to get everything resolved.

Geico, ain't piece of cake either.

just a simple suggestion to consider with any insurance company...

If you have to use the insurance and being their client you have to get your car fixed because you hit someone you get the same treatment...

I will say that I am not a fan of Progressive. I have had personal experience with them. I hit a deer and it took them 4 months to fix my truck. They also doubled my rates the day after I filed the claim and put my truck in the shop. I could not change insurance companies until progressive signed off and released my truck, and they didn't want to do that.

I had to call the State of GA insurance Comission office to get Progressive moving.

I do not recommend, nor do I like progressive at all.

If you have any educator inroads you need to check out Horace Mann. Their rates beat all others for us by a large margin and their customer service has been top notch throughout a recent collision we've experienced.

I was with state farm for 25+ years. I was curious and got a quote from Geico and exact same coverage was almost half the cost. I ask State Farm to give me a better price and they would not budget 1 cent. I made the switch that day.
I have been a satisfied policyholder with GEICO for 30 years and have had as many as four vehicles on the same policy at the same time. Thanks.

I recently switched all my insurance to Cincinnati... Home owners and all 5 vehicles and added my 18 yr old and I couldn't be happier. Find a insurance broker and let them search for the best at the best price !
