After the SAFE Act was passed in NY gun owners gathered at government meetings and told them to come and get them.
I don't know anyone that complied personally.
They've had to "redo" that law a bit. You can now own 10 round magazines, but they kindly ask you to not load them past seven rounds.
This is why many people like me loath politicians on both sides of the fence. Let's go to optimistically magical fairy tail land and figure out how many people will not be shot because of these new laws. Close to zero.

I say let them do it. Let them take away everyone's guns in California. Then they will be more of a giant target. I hope then people will see how hypocritical these politicians are when they are the only ones with armed security.
